Life Way Pregnancy Services is a locally-funded ministry, providing comprehensive services that enable life-giving choices to be made when an unplanned pregnancy occurs.

Life Way Pregnancy Services takes seriously the challenge of Matthew 25.31-46 to reach out to those in distress with help of mercy and compassion.  It brings the resources of the local church and the community to help bear the problems of those facing an unplanned pregnancy.

A local board of directors, representing a variety of evangelical churches, governs Life Way Pregnancy Services.  The executive director, supervises a staff of trained volunteers.  At all levels, Life Way Pregnancy Services is first and foremost a Christian ministry, demonstrating the love of Christ to people who are in crises because of an unplanned pregnancy.

Life Way Pregnancy Services is a pregnancy resource center that serves people from the local community and surrounding areas, regardless of race, creed, color, nationality, age, religion or marital status.  Services are confidential.  Whenever possible, we attempt to reach out to the families and fathers involved.

Historical Background

Since the 1973 Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion on demand, almost every woman with an unplanned pregnancy is faced with the option of abortion.

One out of every three babies in America is aborted. In more than 14 metropolitan areas, abortions outnumber live births.  More than 35 million abortions have occurred since 1973.  Abortion claims 131,520 each month, 4,384 each day, 183 each hour, 3 each minute, 1 every 20 seconds.  All of the biblical scientific evidence points to the fact that human life begins at conception, and that each fetus being "terminated" is a unique individual made in the image of God.

A Place to Find Help

Women and men who are faced with an unexpected pregnancy need compassion and practical help, perhaps extending for weeks, months, or even years.

The main work of the pregnancy resource center is to show the woman that it is a pregnancy not a crisis; that she is not alone with it; to understand her particular need and help her meet it.
